Review For LiverpoolLodge.
I stayed in Liverpool Lodge with my new Girlfriend as I still live with my mother and we wanted some space... We got a Double bed room for 2 Nights for £50, £25 each night with Breakfast, I Booked on there website.
The Breakfast; Is self service and was Not a full English, what I was hoping for but it was a mix of, Boiled eggs, cereal plenty to pick from, Fruit, Toast and a good few other things, Now I'm a big eater I was told I could have as much as I wanted, so it was all good there, don't like it when I go somewhere & they scrimp on food, My Girlfriend liked tho as she's into everything healthy.
The Bed & Room; I stayed in Room "5" Was really clean! bed & room smelled clean too, Only bad thing I have to say about this room is that it didn't have a window, But we had A HD TV with Free Internet and a snack box, Crisp, biscuit etc. The room also didn't have a loo, but did have a Wash area with drinking water with a good size mirror & hair dryer too.
The Staff & Service; The Owner Paul or I think he's the owner, saw and spoke to him a good amount, was shocked on how much he did for us, from little simple things to giving us enough space to keeping me well feed and the conversations we had! he's very clever and a funny man, truly a good host, even his wife and staff are lovely to talk to, if you want them to.
I don't know how they do it for £25 per night for 2 people with a nice, clean comfortable bed, staying there now I would pay more.
The reason why I am doing this is because after I booked I saw some really bad reviews and was getting worried about staying in Liverpool Lodge and I can't understand why, as it's truly a good B&B.
I will be staying around Liverpool in a few more B&B/Hotels and I will be writing more reviews so keep updated.
